Rospotrebnadzor held a working meeting of representatives of Rospotrebnadzor and ACORT, where discussed the questions of interaction, of improvement of quality of services in trade, the fight against counterfeit goods in retail, as well as consumer protection of services of retail trade.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Chief state health officer of the Russian Federation Anna Popova noted that the Agency reduces the administrative burden on businesses, primarily by reducing the number of inspections. So, if in 2011 Rospotrebnadzor checked 63 thousand objects of trade, then in 2015 – 47 thousand. At the same time the number of penalties does not decrease - in 2013 was issued 34 thousand decisions on fines in the amount of 138 million rubles, and in 2015 there were 40 thousand in the amount of 368 million roubles.
The positive results of cooperation of Rospotrebnadzor and ACORT can be observed in the fight against counterfeit products. ACORT members promptly respond to the information of Rospotrebnadzor on identification of counterfeit products, removing it from turnover, conduct internal product quality control.

According to him, the analysis of inspection results allows to allocate the system and common to the trade problem and, thus, to work on prevention, rather than the elimination of negative consequences of violations.
During a meeting reached an agreement on joint counteraction of sale of low-quality and unsafe products, enhancement of mechanisms for prevention of violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements and development of consumer protection mechanisms.
